BeeHive has the potential to be a very nice facility, but in my experience, the day-to-day execution has fallen short of what was promised.When we moved in, we were told the facility would include free WiFi, conference rooms available for free as needed, and secure keyless access. Unfortunately, those expectations have not been met consistently. The WiFi doesn't work, and now you need to rent the conference rooms, even though they are empty most of the time. The biggest concern has been physical security, especially given the continued rent increases.The side door is almost always left unlocked, which undermines the idea of a secure keyless-access facility. I raised this concern with the front desk; while they did lock it when I walked them over to it, the issue has continued.Separately, the front doors have had ongoing problems for months. They are often stuck open, and the electric opener appears to be poorly integrated with the door hardware. The result is awkward and inconsistent behavior when opening the doors electronically, which seems to contribute to the entrance being left unsecured, almost all the time.When I followed up about the front door issue, I was told it was up to ownership to address, but it still has not been fixed.Overall, BeeHive is a nice space in theory, but the unresolved access and security issues make it hard to feel that the facility is being managed to the standard we were sold.

I really enjoyed this facility when I started renting a unit here almost two years ago for storage for my small business. (If you look through the reviews, many of the glowing ones are from around this time period which I believe is close to when they initially opened.)Since then it’s been more of a mixed bag. I use my unit regularly — at least 3-4 times a week. I want to offer a balanced perspective to help others in their decision processes, so I’ll start with the things that have been consistently good:It’s very clean, the front desk staff are super helpful, and the app based access works well. WiFi is strong and consistent. Location is convenient. Initial move-in promotions tend to be good. It’s great for the area to have an option that facilitates pallet delivery and other services helpful for small businesses.However, I’m losing patience with the number of price increases (and the extent of them) combined with the communication practices and policies related to these. For a place that touts itself as being customer-centric, this has not been my experience (with the notable exception of the front desk staff, who are very professional and helpful but are often tasked with executing poorly thought out business decisions.)There was a significant issue with the AC last summer which seriously hampered my ability to spend time in my unit — ultimately negatively impacting my business — any time it was warmer than about 80 degrees. Despite many attempts at communication, this was not resolved to my satisfaction and it looks like I may be in for round two this summer if I stick around.A couple months ago, those who had opted to add an electrical outlet to their units (genuinely a GREAT feature and value add!) were unceremoniously emailed on a Friday and told to fork over an immediate $100 within 24 hours and pay an additional $150/month every month moving forward or their services would be cut off. (I realize electricity is expensive, but that…for like a 10x10 unit used a few times a week?!) I cancelled this service instead, and really didn’t appreciate the way this was handled or communicated.Now, for at least the fourth time in those two years, there has been a rate increase. Not the expiration of a promotional rate, not something in keeping with inflation (crazy as that is) — we’re talking at least 30-80% every six months. This time it was a 50% increase for me. For some it has doubled, or more. And although the email announcing this change never reached me (sent by a third party and ended in the spam filter), I was hit with the new rate when paying my monthly bill earlier this week, so I went in the next day to discuss it and have been waiting about three days to hear back if any adjustment to the rate can be made. In the meantime I’ve been locked out of my unit for non-payment (and over the weekend, when I have orders to ship but no one is available to help) and additionally slapped with a $40 late fee.As a relatively new small business owner, these kinds of price hikes and their escalating impacts are seriously disruptive and make it difficult to budget effectively. When I also factor in the disruptions that have prevented me from being able to carry out the work I need to be able to complete, I feel uncomfortable continuing to rely on a business that has demonstrated it is willing to repeatedly pull the rug out from under with me without a second thought.While they started out doing a lot of things right, at this point there’s a big need to treat your current, existing customers better if you’d like to continue to earn their/our continued business.

The worst storage unit I've ever seen they keep raising the price you cannot open the doors. Nothing works. I will highly recommend to go anywhere else but here.

I have been renting a unit for several months at a decent rate with no issues. I got a notice today they are increasing my rate 138%. That is more than double my current rate. That is truly insane. I will be moving out of that unit. It looks like I’m not the only one.Just received my 2nd rate increase in less than 1 year. This is absolutely absurd. I will be leaving.I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

The front doors have been broken for months. The doors get stuck wide open after hours, and are a struggle to open during daylight hours.Management has been made aware by on site staff, on multiple occasions, and refuses to fix the problem.On site staff have needed to put giant signs on the front door explaining how to get in.Also, the original sales rep that sold me my units told me explicitly that rate increases would be eliminated by talking to on site staff and asking them to march the original price. This agreement was never honored, I was unable to maintain my original rate several months later.

Very expensive. At first they entice you to join for a fair price, after the first month they keep increasing the price. My experience in a year, the price increased 150%.

They are innovative and make every effort to bring the perfect solution to any issue. I rent a contractor bay from them. I also rent outdoor storage from them for decking. They have supplied on demand labor through their app to me. They can do it all!I needed a forklift and driver to unload a truckload. I needed laborers to hand load materials. I needed a skilled laborer to perform carpentry tasks. I needed a trailer and crew to load, deliver, and unload a truck. Each and every time Beehive pros were there for me. Beehive Storage is great. Everyone working the desk is so helpful and personable. There was a problem with the floor to tile flow and it was difficult to get the cart up and over it. Naturally, I had to mention it to them. The next time I was there, it was taken care of. They listen to suggestions and fix them. It's nice, clean, and easy to get in and out of with the use of an App. I highly recommend them.

Mo has been exceptionally helpful. He's been working with us to get multiple storage units next to each other. We explained to him that we would start with one unit, and add more units as we filled it up. He reserved the units in advance. So adding units has been quick and easy. I like the facility. Just entered a storage rental agreement, overwhelmingly positive experience so far. Moe was helpful and friendly and did a good job balancing his attention between myself and other customers who were present at the time. Good sign-on promotional discount, lower overall rent than my existing unit, new building. The digital key system will take some getting used to but at least I'll never (again) drive to my unit only to realize I forgot the key once I try to open it. Convenient location on Rt. 9 as well. Highly recommended.
